Item Description
1.5x1.75". B/W photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist.
Samuel Francis Calderone was an American professional baseball catcher who spent three seasons(1950; 1953-54) in Major League Baseball as a member of the New York Giants and the Milwaukee Braves. This version of his card is the profile photo version. This card is designated as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection".
