Item Description
1.5x1.75". B/W photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist.
Clemente "Sungo" Carreras Gonzales played in the Negro Leagues from 1937-1941 for the New York Cubans and the Cuban Stars. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1998. This card is designated by CSG as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection".
