Item Description
1.5x1.75". B/W photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist.
Sandalio "Sandy" Simeon Consuegra Castellon was a Cuban born Major League Baseball(MLB) pitcher with the Washington Senators, Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles and New York Giants from 1950-1957. "Sandy" was an All-Star in 1954 with the White Sox. This card is designated by CSG as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection".
