Item Description
3.5x5.5" postcard from series for National Baseball HOF and Museum in Cooperstown, NY. Card front pictures the bronze museum plaque of George Kell (1922-2009), who played for the Philadelphia Athletics (1943-1946), Detroit Tigers (1947-1952), Boston Red Sox (1952-1954), Chicago White Sox (1954-1956) and Baltimore Orioles (1956-1957) during his 19 year career. A 10-time All-Star and 1949 AL batting champion, Kell was elected to the National Baseball HOF in 1983. Postcard has been signed in blue felt tip pen.
