Item Description
30.25x39.75" poster shows daring scene of German acrobat Ernest Gadbin in two different poses (indicating motion), demonstrating "A Terrific Descent Of 80 Feet Through Space - Landing Upon His Chest On A Skid Placed At An Angle of 50 Degrees." ©1909 The Strobridge Litho Co. Poster was originally folded horizontally at center, but as professionally linen-mounted, fold line is only noticeable upon close inspection. Poster has very minor restoration, w/1/8x.5" are of margin fill at center right. Poster has some handling creases at lower left corner and streak of moisture staining at lower right margin corner, but would display Exc. if matted and framed.
