Item Description
2-1/16" with Bastian paper. Text surrounding his image reads "Fifth Annual Convention/New England Inter-Grotto Assn./Bridgeport, Conn. Aug. 24-25-1923." Also includes lettering M.O.V.P.E.R. Obeh" a reference to Freemasonry fraternal group named Mystic Order Of Veiled Prophets Of The Enchanted Realm. The two earlier buttons are both 7/8", the first from 1896 promoting his circus and picturing him with Bailey, his partner. The second from a 1897 large button set showing world famous people. One of only two known to us. Glossy and Exc.
