Item Description
15x23.5x4.5" deep box contains playset #3658 Series 1000 copyright 1956 Screen Gems Inc. Box lid has lt. aging/wear. Box is clean w/strong color, one split corner on inside, left rear corner has brown paper repair and has cardboard carrying handles intact (brown tape repair on underside of lower box, not lid). Has inner inserts and original paper bags. VF. Set includes nice tin litho "U.S. Cavalry Headquarters" which appears unused with plastic log tips still on sprues and unique to set. Some lt. scratches on some tin pieces from storage. Set features cream character figures of Lt. Rip Masters, Rusty and Rin Tin Tin. This set comes w/15 Indians in red-orange, 15 Indians in yellow, while the frontiersmen/cavalrymen configuration is ten 54mm figures in powder blue, ten in beige and ten 45mm figures in blue. Three cavalry horses, one standing and one running Indian pony, two teepees, 11 fort wall sections, front gate and small accessories including silver firing cannon has ten tiny shells still on sprue. Has original instruction sheet w/minor tears. Set itself shows very little wear and appears unused and complete w/maximum amount of 60 figures included. Contents are overall Exc. Consignor purchased this set factory sealed, carefully removed staples to examine contents. All contents are as produced and undisturbed in original bags as produced by Marx and NM as issued.
