4.75x11.75x22"  box contains Fort Apache playset. c. 1955. No set number on box. Box lid has lt. aging/wear. Box is tight and clean. Has inner inserts and original fragile paper bags. Not graphic style Fort Apache box has added sticker applied to lid "Complete With Rin Tin Tin Figures". VF. Set includes nice tin litho stockade which appears unused with tin smoke stack. Some lt. scratches on some tin pieces from storage. Set features rare blue character figures of Lt. Rip Masters, Rusty and Rin Tin Tin. This set comes w/15 Indians in dark red, 15 Indians in yellow, totem poles, while the frontiersmen/cavalrymen configuration is ten figures in dark metallic blue, ten in beige and ten in silver. Four cavalry horses w/molded tack, one piece yellow teepee w/topper, blue canoe, 20 star flag, two block houses, 11 fort wall sections, front gate and small accessories including silver firing cannon has ten tiny shells still on sprue. Has original instruction sheet w/aging and tears. Includes two 3" tall Famous American figures of General Custer and Sitting Bull. Custer has thin scabbard and Sitting Bull has peace pipe. Both NM. Set itself shows very little wear and appears unused and complete. Contents are overall Exc. First example of this scarcer variety set we've offered. Consignor purchased this set factory sealed, carefully removed staples to examine contents. All contents are as produced and undisturbed in original bags as produced by Marx and NM as issued.
