6x12" opens to 12x12" cardboard checkerboard is framed in two-sided 14.5x14.5" oak frame. c. 1910. Frame designed to show both sides. One side shows two repeat images and text of product. .25x.5" surface paper is attached to glass by product image. Light color loss along edges. Not offensive. Checkerboard side reads "The Best Banner Lye The Cheapest Process Patented/Will Make Best Soap In Ten Minutes Without Boiling/Will Clean Everything For General Household Use." Scattered surface wear visible on checkerboard side under close inspection. Displays Fine.
