Item Description
1.25" without back paper or maker name but c. 1905 era. Young boy holds up a shoe in one hand and points at it with his other encircled by rim text "My Papa Sells Union Stamped Shoes/Bolte's 1932 S. B'Way St. Louis." In the background hangs a sign reading "Boot & Shoe Workers Union/Union Stamp/Factory No. 54." There is a tiny under 1/16" mark on the boy's chin as made due to speck of paper off the original photo this was made from. Barely seen without magnification. Trivial age tone around reverse collet.  Exc. as made and features high gloss. Only example known to us.
