Item Description
9x16.75" cardboard display features nice full body illustration of Spider-Man and holds complete amount of 12 toy watches, each 6.75" long and featuring same basic design though in different color combinations; all w/black bands; three green watch cases, three w/blue cases and six red cases. Each features same watch cover w/Spider-Man portrait. This lifts to reveal figural plastic "spider" (actually a beetle). Spider-Man image on card shows him wearing one of these watches, the "spider" shooting his webbing instead of Spidey's traditional webshooters. Made in Italy by Giocattoli Grisoni, ©1979 Marvel Comics Group/Cadence Industries Corp. Display card has been punched and has some edge/corner creasing w/moisture staining at bottom left corner. Card also shows some wear to die-cut slots but is o/w Fine overall. Watches are NM, old store stock. We have only offered four other examples of this carded display, and this is the first to include green watch cases (all others have been just red and blue).
