14x15". Dated May 1, 1861. Text indicates that bearer is entitled to payment of "One Hundred Dollars, With Interest There On From This Date Payable At The Same Places Semi-Annually At The Rate Of Eight Percent Per Anum On Surrender Of The Annexed Warrants Or Coupons." Nineteen four dollar coupons remain attached at bottom. Each coupon is dated in 6 month increments to which bearer was paid $4.00 toward the $100.00 bond. Each coupon is hand-numbered and signed. The number corresponds the bond number on upper certificate. Folded as likely issued. Variable age toning. Comes shrink-wrapped. An interesting piece of Civil War era Americana. Fine.
