Item Description
Original release 12-3/8x12.5" album cover for Mötley Crüe's second studio album Shout At The Devil, which was released in Sept. 26 1983 on the Elektra/Asylum Records label. The band's breakthrough album, Shout At The Devil established Mötley Crüe as one of the top selling heavy metal acts of the 1980s. Front has been signed in black felt tip pen by all four founding members - Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars and Vince Neil. Cover has also been signed in black felt tip pen, which blends in somewhat w/the now infamous pentagram cover. The signatures of Lee and Sixx overlap a bit at upper left. Signatures are most visible under reflected light. Iconic shots of band within gatefold. Back of cover shows moderate wear, w/surface paper lifts at corners, likely as once mounted. Cover also exhibits edge creases and corner tip wear. VG/Fine overall, but front of cover has minimal defects and displays much better. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
