Item Description
7.5x12.25" artboard contains painted preliminary cover art for the novel titled "Legions of Antares: Challenge of the Slave Empire" written by Dray Prescott and art by Ken Kelly. This preliminary piece has a fantasy queen in throne at a straight forward view w/large lions. The final cover changed the viewpoint angle and the lions became human-like beasts. Signed nicely by Kelly at lower left. Masking taped border w/trim marks. Lt. aging/handling wear. VF.
