Item Description
24.5x26.25" frame contains limited edition print showcasing the fascinating origins of Batman's iconic appearance. The art of Leonardo da Vinci inspired Kane's Batman (w/fine tuning by co-creator Bill Finger), and this print reprints Kane's innovative sketches of the Dark Knight along side da Vinci's bat-like flying machine. Released as a limited edition of 500 for Batman's 50th Anniversary in 1989 (and alongside the new wave of Batmania created by the blockbuster 1989 film), it has been hand-numbered "318/500" in pencil and has been boldly signed in black felt tip pen at bottom by Kane (1915-1998). Comes w/COA signed by Director of Warner Bros. Gallery Wall Art. NM and ready for display.
