Item Description
Adco-Liberty Mfg. Corp. ©1954 NCP, Inc. Classic lunchbox shows Superman fighting giant robot on front/back panels w/classic yellow Superman symbol, "Superman" comic book title/logo and images on red band. Left side of band has slot for name and has "Superman's Friend Is ..." text which remains unused. Box has moderate aging/wear overall. Rim/edge wear. Scattered trace oxidation to metal handle, attachments and box rim. Interior has oxidation on edges. Box still displays nicely. Comes w/8.25" tall generic (as issued) Universal Vacuum Bottle thermos in burgundy and gray w/white plastic cap. Metal portion shows scattered wear w/some oxidation at bottom. Missing rubber plug replaced w/cork. Overall glossy w/nice color and displays VG.
