Item Description
We've seen only two examples of this button. They have identical fronts but two different W&H back papers. One example had a Hake Type 10 or Type 11 (See Collectible Pin-back Buttons) back paper used only in 1900. The other version being offered here, the same example as we sold in our March 2014 auction, has a W&H paper in use 1900-1912 and this one is pencil dated 1902. Text reads "MidSummer Carnival Sheridan July 3-4-5/Indians/Cow-boys/Hot Time". Historic old west button rarity. Glossy and Exc.
