Item Description
Each is a 13/16" litho. For the first time, rather than offer this as an alphabetical set of 86 (with just one Superman), our consignor built his set of 90 using a 1970s letter from Kellogg's that lists by 18 numbered characters how  the five sets were comprised and issued over two years, and which explains why fifth set characters other than Superman) are the scarcest as the collecting novelty wore off among the kids. A photocopy of the list comes with the set. The set is very high grade. Their are just six we'd call Fine. The remaining 84 have a few VF but vast majority of those 84 are Exc. to NM. The five Superman are identical and each curl reads "Copyright D.C. Inc."
