Item Description
Greenduck 1-1/8" lithos, for probable Chicago newspaper each reading "Now 50 Comics - 32 Pages - Sunday Examiner." The 10 in this set come with and without a 5-digit serial number for a contest the paper was promoting. The 10 characters are the rare, key button in the set Mickey Mouse (with serial number, some faint gray tone), Barney Google (w/serial, one brown dot), Blondie (w/serial) Buttercup (w/serial and shallow dent), Jiggs (w/serial), Nebbs (w/serial)  Popeye (originally no serial, but original owner neatly scratched off paint to make #3201 and he removed paint to give the face three accent lines and no paint on tiny round eye), Skippy (w/serial), Tillie (no serial, hairline scratch at left), The Captain ( w/serial). Fine to Exc. Rare as a full set.
