Item Description
Each 1.25" issued with two different back papers both naming Phila. button maker Jas. Spencer. All buttons are Exc. to NM except Felix which is concave to the touch and with pale gray all over spots, but retaining gloss and bright color. These buttons have the back paper "World's Most Famous Comics/Evening Ledger Every Day": Babe Bunting, Bobby Thatcher, Connie, Dan Dunn, Felix, Harold Teen, Smitty, Popeye, Wimpy. Four of these have very tiny initials inked on paper. Two buttons have back paper "Listen To/Brother Bill/ Every Day 6 P.M./WIP". The following three, which are the highest value and rarest or scarcest of the 14 are without back paper: Ledger Fun Club w/Rudolph, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse with caption "O-O-O-OH! Mickey".  With the sole exception of Felix, a gorgeous, high grade set, one of the best of the eight or so we've offered in our 56 years.
