Item Description
Pair of 7/8" club buttons  from early in the year 1930, first year of the M.M.C. movie theater's existence. Both include a copyright symbol below Mickey (others from this era do not have symbol) and this is the very earliest Mickey image which includes U-shaped pants' buttons, a design briefly used before being replaced by Disney studio-approved Mickey image. The button without theater name has a Whitehead & Hoag maker's back paper. These likely saw use just in the Los Angeles area. The other naming "Warner's Egyption" has no paper. This theater opened in 1925 on Colorado St. in Pasedena. Both have tiny age trace on extreme edge, barely seen. Both glossy VF, historic and rare.
