Item Description
From same issue/story as previous lots. Art is for page 5 and features six panels, showing Barbara Gordon discovering Clark Kent's press credentials amongst the Batman uniform Superman had discarded, bewildered at the thought of "Mild-Mannered Reporter" Clark Kent as Batman. Last four panels show the real Batman's efforts to stop oil smugglers in Gotham Harbor, helping Superman into boat. Batman and Superman are seen in two panels while Barbara Gordon appears in first two panels. Swan has signed last panel. Blue pencil editorial note/mark at lower right. Top margin has stamped title w/issue/page number in pencil. Back has DC copyright inkstamp and lt. preliminary pencil sketch of boat as seen in final panel as well as inked price. Aged strip of tape at top/bottom center margins, but o/w art remains clean and Exc.
