Item Description
From same issue/story as previous lots. Art is for page 7 and features four panels, showing Superman lifting oil tanker from the water, carrying it back to Gotham Harbor so the crimes committed onboard could be prosecuted. Last two panels show Barbara Gordon reading newspaper w/news of Superman and Batman's exploits the previous night, trying to figure out why Clark Kent/Superman would be posing as Batman. Superman appears in first two panels, while Barbara Gordon appears in last two panels (one panel showing just her hand). Swan has signed last panel. Third panel has line of portion of newspaper text replaced, w/replacement strip secured in place w/tape on back. Some blue pencil editorial notes/marks at lower right and top center. Top margin has stamped title w/issue/page number in pencil. Back has DC copyright inkstamp and inked price. Strip of tape staining at top center margin, aged strips of tape at bottom/left center margins, but o/w art remains clean and Exc.
