Item Description
5x5x2.75" tall box contains watch w/1x1.25" chromed metal case and vintage leather band (these watches were issued w/either metal link or gray leather bands). U.S. Time, c. 1951. Box includes die-cut insert containing domed plastic space compass that has diagram w/text "Ecto, Terra, Endo" and has space distances listed on bottom. Lid features photo portrait of Ed Kemmer as Buzz Corey. Box has lt. corner tip wear and some scattered edge wear. Fine overall. Dial has "Space Patrol" logo. Watch appears overwound. Much bright luster remains on case. Dial remains clean. Watch band has original price band and appears unused. VF overall. Compass dome shows some lt. aging/wear and is VF. Includes warranty card and compass paper. Lt. aging/handling wear. Fine. Scarce as boxed.
