11x9.25" stat paper sheets w/copy of art from issue #1 used for The Incredible Hulk Marvel Masterworks #8 Vol. 1 (Marvel, September 1989) featuring the first appearance and origin of The Incredible Hulk by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover book. Complete 24 story pages. Historic Silver Age Incredible Hulk storyline "The Hulk" by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby. First appearance of the Hulk, Rick Jones, Betty Ross, Thunderbolt Ross and the Gargoyle. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Pages mounted to 8.5x11" copy paper to add 3 hole punches w/"Marvel Masterworks The Incredible Hulk!" stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Used in Marvel Masterworks #8 that reprinted The Incredible Hulk #1-6. September 1989. Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
