Item Description
.75" w/W&H back paper. Off-center w/some light age toning. VF. Moorfield Storey was a lawyer and civil rights leader based in Boston, MA. He was the first president of the NAACP. He served as the counsel in the Buchanan v. Warley case in 1917 which was viewed as a landmark victory against racial segregation. In 1918, the NAACP led an effort to enlist 50,000 new members and named the drive in honor of Storey.
