Item Description
7x10" stat sheets w/copy of art to Marvel Fanfare Vol. 1 #16-17, (Marvel, Sept.-Nov. 1984), that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issue. Includes beautiful wrap-around cover for issue #16 only, no cover for #17, and pages for storyline "Sky-Wolf!" by Marv Wolfman with art by Dave Cockrum. Story features multiple images of Hitler. Part 1 is 18 pages and Part 2 is 19 pages. Color artist was Andy Yanchus. Pages have color break notations in pen and some art paste-ins. Lt. aging/handling wear. Overall Exc. Extensive lot includes copies of original art board pencils for 11 of 19 pages from part two of the storyline, original correction notes, two original pencil drawings of the "Flapjack" aircraft on layout bond, likely by Cockrum but not signed and large stack of copies of the story pages and the crew style guides w/coloring variations on the uniforms. A few have color notations and minor colored spots or corrections. Aging/wear. Also VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
