Item Description
All four have Mickey in classic hands on hips pose. First is 1-1/8" tall w/hinged vertical pin and clasp on reverse. This piece is most unusual as the brass has been embossed w/the details from the front rather than from the reverse as typical. Seldom seen red enamel paint has small loss and microscopic crazing but 75% remains. Likely German produced. The next is likely British and is quite large at 1 -11/16" tall. Reverse hinged vertical pin w/clasp. Again a design rarity w/Mickey's face, pants, shoes and tail in smooth silver finish. However, the ears, nose, upper body and legs are covered in a pattern of slightly elevated tiny circles each composed of six flower petal-like shapes. Third is also a large Mickey at 1-11/16" comprised of red enamel and a lightly tarnished silver finish. Reverse is not marked Sterling but it is marked "All Rights Reserved" and it carries the tiny logo of entwined letters "CH" representing the London silversmith Charles Horner. Likely silver plate. Last also carries Charles Horner logo w/the words "Sterling Silver" above and below the logo along w/"All Rights Reserved". We've seen one other example of this small 13/16" Mickey. Most Horner silver Mickeys are about 1-1/8". The first is Fine, the other three are Exc. to NM. All are rare.
