Item Description
Kurt Vonnegut (1922-2007) was an American writer and humorist known for his satirical and darkly humorous novels. In a career spanning over 50 years, he published 14 novels, three short-story collections, five plays and five nonfiction works; further collections have been published after his death. His best known work is Slaughterhouse-Five. Offered here is 8.511" sheet w/printed excerpt from his 1976 novel Slapstick, which deals w/themes of loneliness. Line provided has Vonnegut's name printed below it in red felt tip pen and this is surrounded by large caricature self-portrait by Vonnegut, which has been dated April 7, 1997. Sheet has vertical fold at center and shows scattered handling wear, more notable along bottom margin. Fine/VF overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
