Item Description
Original mailing envelope addressed to Columbus Ledger Entertainment Editor Reggie Capes (see previous lot) has Dec. 14, 1967 postmark and contains 8.5x11" single-sided Christmas card on textured paper depicting The Thing of the Fantastic Four wearing blue Santa hat and knitted gloves, throwing large "Season's Greetings" snowball at reader. Card has printed "From - Smilin' Stan And The Merry Marvel Bullpen!" text. Card has been folded as issued and is unsigned. NM as issued. Envelope has been opened along left, resulting in uneven edge. All 1960s Marvel cards are rare and highly sought after, and this is the first we've offered.
