Item Description
May 1957. Each thick Strathmore artboard is 13.5x20.25" with pencils and inks by Jack Keller. Stories are titled "The Sheriff Of Buckshot!, Trail Of Disaster!, Fateful Journey!, The Big Man, Draw On Sight!". Book also had two page text story which is not included nor is the cover. Complete 23 story pages encompassing five stories. Lt. aging/handling wear. Type stats at top of first page of four Kid Colt Outlaw stories with art by Jack Keller on all. One backup story "The Big Man" is four pages with art by Syd Shores (1916-1973). Lt. aging/handling wear. A few pages have type cut-ins with tape on back. 1956 Comic Code stamp on backs. All Exc. Unique opportunity to own a complete, early issue of Kid Colt Outlaw. Jack Keller (1922-2003) was an American comic book artist best known for his 1950s and 1960s work on the Atlas/Marvel Comics Western character Kid Colt Outlaw.
