Item Description
Box contains 8" poseable action figure of Ultraman Joe from the popular show in Japan. Late 1970s. Box has lt. aging/wear, minor corner wear, small surface paper pull on top w/nice window. Overall displays VF. Figure appears NM and unused. This Japanese market line by Popy was produced after selling boxed versions of Mego's most popular figures of Superman, Batman and Spider-Man. Popy then made their own Mego-like line of figures based on Japanese superheroes. Series included Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Battle Fever J and Gatchaman. Mego style bodies w/cloth uniforms, vinyl heads, large fisted plastic gloves and boots on most. Scarce figures to find, especially boxed.
