Item Description
Published Sept. 1978 by DC Comics, this copy of Action Comics #487 has its front cover signed in black felt tip pen by Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel (1914-1996) at center, on flaming Daily Planet globe, which hurtles towards WGBS building as Superman is powerless to stop it. Great José Luis García-Lopéz art w/perfect placement of Siegel's signature. Issue shows some handling wear, w/pinch creases to spine and corner creases to cover (.5" tear w/archival tape repair at top left corner of front cover). Pages have evenly aged and remain clean. VG/Fine overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
