Item Description
Marvel 1976. Comic art boards are 11.5x17.5" and are drawn two pages per board in reader spreads. "Pull Of The Prodigy" storyline by Ann Robinson. Pencils by Ross Andru with Mike Esposito inks. Brief story synopsis includes a plot to gain a large crop of new child laborers for home planet, and The Prodigy, an alien in human disguise, attempts to convince teenagers to have unprotected sex. Using his power of vocal persuasion, which will convince teenagers to listen to his every command, The Prodigy denounces information about the risks and consequences of teen pregnancy and venereal disease. Spider-Man steps in before The Prodigy's teenage victims can fall for his ploy, and stops The Prodigy from speaking by shooting webbing down his throat. This one-shot PSA was jointly released by Marvel Comics and Planned Parenthood. There is no publication month. Boards have lt. aging/handling wear. Amazing Spider-Man stamped and Parenthood handwritten at top of each page. Type balloon paste-over missing on page 10. Some fingerprint marks in corners and some lt. stains on some boards. Total of eight boards containing 15 pages. No cover. Overall pages display Fine.
