Item Description
Disney dolls by Charlotte Clark are among the nicest of any Disney dolls ever produced. There were three standard sizes of Clark Mickey and Minnie Mouse dolls produced for retail sale. c. early 1930s. This Mickey Mouse is the largest size and stands 19" tall to the tips of his ears. Doll is mostly stitched cloth w/oilcloth eyes (which have some scattered touch-ups), felt ears, stitched cord mouth and cord whiskers. This is scarce variety w/corduroy pants (complete w/plastic buttons) and shoes. Complete w/long fabric tail. Underside of one foot has strong "Mickey Mouse" name and copyright/patent information. Underside of other foot has partial original Good Housekeeping Toy Award sticker. Doll has noticeable fading to back of pants, but this is minimal on front. Typical and unavoidable lt. aging to white areas of face and gloves. Still a nice and complete example that stands for display. Fine overall.
