1" dia. pinback button issued by Australian theater chain, c. 1948 to promote the 15-part Columbia Pictures Superman movie serials starring Kirk Alyn, Superman's first live action appearance. Button features great full body image of Superman flying over the city. Of note is a tiny cello rim nick at 8 o'clock. Surface is bright and glossy. Exc. Rare.
