Item Description
18-7/8x19.25" artboard has mixed media original art used for cover to compilation double LP (No. 9 of a 29 volume boxed set), released in 1985 by Time-Life Music. Art is by noted illustrator Richard Waldrep, who has created art for over 30 album covers. Art Deco-inspired design is dominated by large portrait of Herman w/members of his band and dancing couple in bkg. Artboard has some staining along top margin from tape that once attached paper overlay (now loose but included). Some lt. glue staining on back where overlay was once attached. Art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/album cover proof signed in black ink by the artist. Proof has uneven edges, shows handling wear w/creases and just comes along.
