Item Description
20x20.5" artboard has mixed media original art used for cover to compilation double LP, from same series as previous lot. Art is by noted illustrator Richard Waldrep, who has created art for over 30 album covers. Art Deco-inspired design is dominated by image of Big Band bass player Slam Stewart performing for his bandmates at train station. Artboard has overlay attached at top. Some lt. glue staining across top margin and on back where paper overlay is attached. Some corner creases but art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/album cover proof signed in black ink by the artist. Proof shows lt. scattered handling wear w/creases and is VF.
