Item Description
In 1977-1978, three different General Mills cereals offered a series of Star Wars sticker cards. The set features 16 stickers in all that feature a space bkg. border w/photo images of Star Wars characters/scenes. Stickers were issued as individual box inserts in specially marked boxes of Lucky Charms, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Boo Berry, Count Chocula and Franken Berry cereals. Of note, "Character Stick-Ons" came in boxes of Lucky Charms w/yellow "Star Wars" name, "Creature Stick-Ons" came in boxes of Trix w/orange/red "Star Wars" name, "Robot Stick-Ons" came in boxes of Cocoa Puffs w/yellow "Star Wars" name while "Scene Stick-Ons" came in boxes of General Mills Monsters cereals w/gray/purple "Star Wars" name. Offered here is 17.5x21.5" uncut sticker sheet featuring total of 25 individual "Creature Stick-Ons" in four different designs - Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Jawa and Stormtroopers. Sheet features six of each design. Sheet has some handling wear w/slight rippling and upper left margin shows some wear by Darth Vader, but does not intrude into sticker design. 5.5" horizontal crease at lower left; across two Stormtroopers stickers. Fine overall, but stickers remain Fine to VF/Exc. overall. Given the distribution, this proved a difficult set to put together.
