Item Description
1.5x2.75". The 1909-11 American Caramel E90-1 set consists of 120 cards. Each colorized card shows an artistic rendering of the athlete with his name, position and team denoted in a white border area at the bottom of each card. Several players exist in more than one pose or background color, adding to the difficulty in compiling a master set. Cards carry advertising backs. Joe Tinker was a player and manager. He played from 1902 through 1916 for the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Chicago Whales of the Federal League. He was a World Series champion in 1907 & 1908. Joe Tinker was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1946.
