Item Description
1.5x2-5/8". The 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel set consists of 25 cards. Each card features a full-color art rendering of a player photograph framed by a white border with his last name, home city and league printed along the bottom border. A checklist is printed on the reverse. Chief Bender was a Cherokee Indian pitcher who played in Major League Baseball during the 1900s and 1910s. In 1911, Bender tied a record by pitching three complete games in a single World Series. He finished his career with a 212-127 win-loss record for a .625 winning percentage and a career 2.46 earned run average (ERA). Bender was elected into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1953.
