Item Description
1-3/8x2.25". The 1920 W522 set consists of 20 cards. Card fronts have either a colorized portrait pose or full-length pose with a pastel background. A white border frames the scene with the player's last name and card number appear at the bottom border. Card backs are blank. Christy Mathewson was a Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher, who played 17 seasons with the New York Giants. Mathewson was top 10 all-time in most pitching categories including wins, shutouts, and earned run average. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1936.
