2-5/8x3.75". The 1955 Topps Baseball set consists of 206 cards. This is a key card in the set. Jackie Robinson made his Major League debut on April 15, 1947 for Branch Rickey's Brooklyn Dodgers, becoming the first African American ballplayer in the modern Major Leagues. Robinson would go on to win the National League Rookie of the Year award in 1947.Jackie Robinson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1962.
