Item Description
1.75". No maker. Spring pin holds three ribbons. Baseball design w/text, crossed bats and ball. The game was played on Tuesday, July 7, at the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The National League defeated the American League 5-4. A second All-Star game was played one month later in LA. The experiment of two All-Star Games continued for four seasons; one annual game resumed in 1963. Lt. aging to ribbons and trace of surface wear to button upon close inspection. Glossy, VF.
