Item Description
1.25" with covered metal back by Pin-Lock and horizontal bar pin. Shows man holding a pole and wearing high boots approaching a log building with "Store" across the roof front. Rim text includes "June 23rd-July 4th '03." Store has bright gold background behind it. Rim does show blending traces of age stain but detracting little from the wonderful color. Full gloss. One known. Newspaper article a week in advance announced "40,000 Articles Offered At The Country Store" ..." during the Oakland St. Carnival by the Alameda Gentlemen's Charitable Association. "Jimmy Munro, Auctioneer" encouraged "All Alamedans To Take Your Pick Early" for charity. California Button Collection.
