1.25" with moderate tan age on the very first back paper used prior to 1901 by the city's major button maker Walter N. Brunt who was established in 1899. Scene depicts six children at a "May Day 1900" pole accented by state flower poppies in gold plus bright gold text "Public School Teachers & Pupils/May Day 1900 Souvenir/Benefit Of S.F.
