Item Description
1.25" without maker's name but we guess Brunt and c. 1915. Tracy began as a railroad town built by the Central Pacific RR on the route from Sacramento to the San Francisco Bay area. Thus the lantern design (which is captioned "Booster" as it was given to donors) encircled by the text "All Roads Lead To Tracy Street Fair & Carnival/Tracy Sept 19,20,21". The clown is white faced with buck teeth and a hat possibly intended as a dunce cap. This image rises from the top of a  small flame in the base of the lantern. One known to us. Rare. High gloss and Exc. California Button Collection.
