Item Description
2.75" and appearing from the front like an oval pocket mirror (c. 1910), except for six tiny triangular brass pointed tabs which it turns out are holding the celluloid front to a full sized flat brass plate with fixed bar pin and text above "Gottmann/&/Kretchmer/Chocolate Makers/Chicago". We've never seen another celluloid of this size attached to a brass back plate likely because the cost far exceed that of the same celluloid with a glass mirror and tin collet. Only one known to us. Rare. Exc.
