Item Description
3.5x5x2.75". Heavy cardboard box w/padded velvet pin cushion on top lid featuring crossed American flags and slogan "Victory For Adams" at center. When opened, an etched portrait of Adams is found under glass on underside of lid. Lid is no longer attached, as is typical. Fading to the text on the top, otherwise only moderate exterior wear makes this one of the finest examples we have encountered in our 56 years. Fine. These boxes were made in a variety of sizes and shapes w/different cushions featuring different slogans. This example is the largest and its cushion, mentioning Adams by name, is the most highly coveted.
