8.5x14". Dated February 12, 1872. Bond is $50,000 from Jay Gould to George W. Smith. Bottom of cover reads hand-written additional text "principal and interest payable at the office of the Erie Railway Company in the city of New York." Interior includes notes regarding the bond from 1872-1876. Horizontal folds, otherwise light scattered surface wear and handling. VF. Comes w/JSA LOA.
